01.10.2012: "Engineering Offices from Saxony" at the 32nd Baugrundtagung in Mainz

We were present at the 32nd Baugrundtagung with trade exhibition geotechnics again this year with a shared exhibition booth named "Engineering Offices from Saxony" together with the following companies and institutions:

The Baugrundtagung 2012 was a full success for all participating companies. Especially our newly designed booth was an attention catcher and well received by visitors. In this spirit we'd like to thank all of the visitors. We already look forward to the 33rd Baugrundtagung in Berlin.

10.04.2012: Cross country running in the area of Prießnitzgrund

Like many years before, BAUGRUND DRESDEN again participated in the cross country running in the area of Prießnitzgrund in 2012. We even started with 3 teams this year. The traditional running has taken place since 1913 and annually leads participants over a historical track with a length of 6.3 km. This makes it the oldest still existing track event in Germany.

04.04.2012: Election of a chairman

On 07 March 2012 our managing director Mr. Prof. Dr.-Ing. P.-A. von Wolffersdorff was elected the new chairman of the committee 1.6 "Numerical Methods in Geotechnics" of the German Geotechnical Society (DGGT).

02.03.2012: Dr. Vogt now also EBA consultant for ballastless tracks

We are proud to announce that our long-time employee and authorised representative Mr. Dr.-Ing. Lutz Vogt was again appointed to approved EBA consultant by the Federal German Railway Authorities, this time in the area of superstructures with ballastles tracks as his field of activity. Mr. Dr. Vogt is already working as approved EBA consultant in the area of geotechnics since 2007.

09.01.2012: 2012 starts off with a new website

Just in time for 2012 our new BAUGRUND DRESDEN website is now online. Expect not only a revised layout but also some special features, like our publications available as PDF for download. Another improvement is our interactive Google world map. Here you will get an overview of our projects and their location – both nationally and internationally.
