11.12.2017: Commissioning of the railway line Berlin - Nuermberg as part of the project VDE 8

After finishing the tracks for the entire section 8.1.2 from Erfurt to Ebensfeld, the VDE 8 could now be commissioned.

BAUGRUND DRESDEN congratulates all parties involved and is more than happy to have been part of this project with the following services for all sections of the project:

• Consultancy and checking of drawings with regard to ballastless track

06.12.2017: Childrens' Christmans Party with the Park Railway Dresden

Every year BAUGRUND DRESDEN doesn't just invite their employees to a Christmas party but also holds a separate event for their offspring. This year the little ones - accompanied by their parents or grandparents - could board the Liliput train on 2 December and enjoy the beginning of the Christmas season with a train ride through the park Großer Garten. Once arrived at their destination, everyone gathered for lunch at the restaurant Torwirtschaft.

23.11.2017: Topping out ceremony of the "Haus am Schauspielgarten"

On 15 November 2017 REVITALIS REAL ESTATE AG held a topping out ceremony for the residential area "Haus am Schauspielgarten" with numerous invited guests – among others also BAUGRUND DRESDEN.

By order of the client, BAUGRUND DRESDEN was responsible for the following services:

• Ground exploration
• Geotechnical report
• Planning and approval procedures under water law for dewatering during construction (together with GIP GmbH)
• Monitoring of dewatering during construction
• Geotechnical construction supervision

10.11.2017: Occupational health and safety specialist

We are delighted to inform you that our employee, Mrs. Dipl.-Ing. Anjte Pötschke, has completed her training as occupational health and safety specialist according to regulation 2 of the Deutschen Gesetzlichen Unfallversicherung (DGUV). With this she fulfills the requirements of the German Occupational Safety Act (ASiG) § 7.

02.11.2017: Promoting the educational future of students

In order to assist the students of the Secondary School in Dresden-Cotta a bit with their future education, on 26 October 2017 BAUGRUND DRESDEN handed the Förderverein Gymnasium Dresden-Cotta (a booster club for the secondary school) a donation for the realisation of projects within the scope of the students' occupational and educational education.

04.10.2017: Recomminssioning of the Karlsruhe – Basel ICE route after tunnel damages near Rastatt

BAUGRUND DRESDEN could do their part in making sure the ICE route was recommissioned earlier than planned. As authorised expert for railway engineering in geotechnics ((EBA expert Dr.-Ing. Lutz Vogt) we were able to limit the scale of damages outside of the tunnel and monitor the reconstruction with a protective reinforced concrete slab.
